What to do when we are closed

Urgent health problems

If you need to contact a doctor for an urgent medical problem outside normal surgery hours please call 111.

The out of hours service is available between 18:30 – 08:00 and 24hrs a day on weekends and bank holidays.

Your medical situation will be assessed and you will be directed to the most appropriate service.

If your urgent medical problem genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens please call this GP out of hours service.

It is better to call the out of hours service than go to the Emergency Department (A&E) as you will be able to be assessed more quickly.

If there is a threat to life (choking, bleeding, chest pain, unconsciousness) you should call 999

Health Emergencies
